We wish to provide stylish Adaptive Clothing for those that are mobility challenged.

Are these clothes washable?

Yes, our clothes are made with facility washing in mind. We do our best to address shrinkage that will naturally occur with the hot temperatures by producing roomy styles that breathe.

Who needs Adaptive Clothing?

In most cases, those that are now confined to wheelchair use full time. If the client can no longer raise their arms to get dressed due to limited mobility, or can no longer go to the washroom alone, benefit from open backed clothing.

Where is your clothing made?

Some of our clothing is made on Vancouver Island and some of our clothing is made in Sri Lanka. We have a wonderful relationship with a company there who will help us stay on top of our growing business. All designs are made to our specifications.

What is adaptive clothing?

Adaptive Clothing or open back clothing is a much-needed option for those who have limited mobility. With the clothes opening in the back, caregivers have easy access to address their client, and they go on easily which is less stressful for the user.

Do folks in wheelchairs need nice clothing?

We at Kayden Design always believe that one should have options that make them feel good and reflect who they are. Just because you’re in a wheelchair doesn’t mean you don’t want to feel you’re best.

How fast do you ship?

We are a Canadian company based on the West Coast on lovely Vancouver Island. We endeavour to ship your order within 3 days of receiving it.

What else do you do?

Local clients often bring in their own regular clothing and we adapt it so they can utilize their original purchases and their favourite outfits.
